Every Monday morning around 3am something happens in my street for 5 minutes involving something with a motor and sometimes a reversing beep. It's just long enough for me to wake up, but not long enough for me to actually get out of bed to see what it is and do something about it. Such a great start to the week...
I suppose you could fight fire with fire, set off your car alarm and then just leave it on for a few days while you stay with a friend. But I expect you're not that evil...
This was just crazy. We have a gardener who looks after the communal areas and he fucking loves his leaf blower, then the council guys made their way down the street pruning trees and feeding the branches into a shredder thing.
I felt a bit evil later in the day when I had to drill holes in the wall to mount a new curtain rail. I love my power drill. I even laughed maniacally.
Random writings, stories, magazine theatre reviews and interviews, fiction, and occasionally my bi-weekly column Grumpy, which used to appear in the pages of Tsunami mag. Oh and be sure to check out my ebook, 17 Stories Of Love & Crime.
